Brandon Stalcup
Brandon Stalcup is an Investment Advisor Representative and President at Luxon Brown. In 1999, Brandon earned his securities and insurance license so he would be better equipped to handle his personal finances. He never intended for the financial industry to become his career, but after winning Rookie of the Year with American Express Financial Advisors, he realized he had a talent for understanding and adapting to the factors that influence financial health and decided to dedicate his life to educating and advising his community on how to reach their financial goals.
The aftermath of 9/11 and the 2008 financial crisis showed him how unthoughtful financial strategies can adversely impact the lives of his clients. The lessons he learned during these tumultuous times compel him to do what is right long term for his clients so that they can have the confidence to worry less about the temporary upheaval in the short term. His strategies and expertise have earned him numerous awards and recognition, including Financial Advisor newcomer of the year at Arvest Bank in 2001-2002, Top Producer at Financial Advisors at Arvest Bank-Central Division in 2003-2007, Newcomer of the Year at MetLife Securities in 2008-2009, and Top 3 Regional Advisor at MetLife Securities 2010-2015.
Brandon is a Little Rock native and, of course, an avid Razorbacks fan. He and his fiancé, Jennifer, have four children—Gavin, Holland, Avaleigh, and Farah. Gavin and Holland are in college at the University of Arkansas and Point Park University in Pittsburgh, respectively. Avaleigh and Farah are still at home and attend local schools. The family never misses an opportunity to vacation together in the mountains of Colorado. When not helping his clients, Brandon can be found hiking deep in the woods, fishing raging rivers, or enjoying a hot tub with the family.
